Workmanship Warranty​

At Neighborhood Windows & Doors we've got you covered with our exclusive 'Worry - Free' workmanship warranty, designed to give you the maximum piece of mind of a job done right.

Materials. Replacement windows come in a variety of materials, from wood to vinyl to aluminum and more. Each of these materials are guaranteed to last a specific amount of time by the manufacturer. Should the windows show signs of wear and tear within this time period, they should be covered under warranty.

​

 

Defects. Small defects, such as inconsistent color characteristics, should be protected by the manufacturer window warranties.

 

 

Hardware. Coverage of broken or malfunctioning window/door hardware is typically covered by the manufacturers, which is not categorized as workmanship work.

Energy-efficient Glass. Energy-efficient windows feature gasses such as argon or krypton between panes. While these gasses should last for many years, a warranty should protect homeowners should they deplete at a faster rate.

Vision Obstruction. Dust or moisture trapped between window panes can be an unsightly annoyance, and can lead to a film developing on the windows. Warranties will typically cover this repair.

Installation. DIY window repairs are a consideration for many homeowners. But while they might offer some immediate savings, they can present long-term issues. In the case of window replacement, window warranties usually cover errors made by licensed contractors.

DIY repairs causing further damage are not covered, it might result in a voided manufacturer warranty.

Custom Options. Premium window options like custom glass designs are typically protected from defects by manufacturer warranties.

* Fully transferable workmanship warranty is valid for a single (1) homeowner transfer on the same address for window/door installation.

** 24hr guaranteed leak response, exclusive to our ten (10) year workmanship warranty, and on select workmanship warranty coverage options as determined during the purchase and installation of materials, is guaranteed during our standard weekday operating business hours. The project must be completed and fully paid in order to initiate any workmanship warranty services. To submit a 24hr guaranteed leak response, please contact the office at 321-735-8002 and notify Neighborhood Windows & Doors of the issue, which includes pictures and all information pertaining to initiating a workmanship warranty service request.

^* Interior repairs for workmanship warranty service request is initiated by submitting pictures, dates, and all information regarding the requested service within 3 days of realizing the issue (if submitted after 3 days this voids any workmanship warranty). An internal investigation will begin to determine the cause of any interior damages. Based on the findings, which Neighborhood Windows & Doors reserves the right to seek further investigative means by working with outside contractors/vendors to determine the cause, Neighborhood Windows & Doors will present the homeowner with the final findings and a recommendation based on the cause. Neighborhood Windows & Doors is not responsible for any damages, allowances, or reimbursements if it is determined to be an issue unrelated to the applied workmanship warranty, and any administrative costs incurred by Neighborhood Windows & Doors will be billed to the homeowner.

Once initial contact has been made by the homeowner or Neighborhood Windows & Doors, an internal investigation will pursue to determine any root causes of damages or inconveniences. Neighborhood Windows & Doors is not responsible for any damages, allowances, or reimbursements if it is determined to be an issue unrelated to the applied workmanship warranty, and any administrative costs incurred by Neighborhood Windows & Doors will be billed to the homeowner.
